INTERNATIONAL AIDS CANDLELIGHT MEMORIAL SUNDAY IN ABUJA-NIGERIA
Related to country: Nigeria

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

On the 17th of may, 2009 the 26th anniversary of the international aids candlelight memorial-a program by Global Health Council will be held in coalition of some 1,200 community organizations in 115 countries to honour the lost and raise social consciousness about the disease (HIV/AIDS).

We at Noble Missions International will be joining these communities to host an event on Sunday, May 17th 2009 by 5pm at Sharon Ultimate Hotel, Area 3, Garki, Abuja – Nigeria . We will light candles, hear remarks from Mrs. Sharon Ayeni (a British diplomat in Nigeria ), watch a playlet by Summit Drama and listen to songs by Solomon Lange and Sola Dada. The event will also serve as an opportunity for participants to learn about the HIV/AIDS services offered locally and about the opportunities they have to volunteer.

If you are in Nigeria, especially in FCT, please find your way to this event on the said day and lets make a change.

Thank you.
